Our auditor, Chris Hunt, sadly passed away suddenly last month, aged 57. She was a wonderful, bubbly woman who did so much, so willingly, for the community, including the residents’ association newsletter and the knitting and sewing circle (which she started) in the Italian deli. For us, most importantly, she gave up her time each year to audit the allotment accounts. She asked for nothing in return but was delighted and grateful to receive our vegetable offerings. Even then she would give me a jar of the chutney she made with them.

Her funeral was held on Monday 7th January. It was exceptionally well attended as was to be expected when she was so well loved. A wreath was sent by us which was much appreciated by her family. She will be sorely missed.
